road trip.

I'm headed home from my long summer stay in Oregon/Washington.

But heading home includes one thing i dislike,

spending 36 hours in a car.

it's not really that bad since im with my awesome family (including jen!!)

But I might not feel the same about them tomorrow. hehehe:)

since my dad is a HARDCORE, "lets just get there, NO stops" kind of person.

we have to have some sorta constant entertainment...

which includes..

thank Heavenly Father for this girl! and her lovely backpack.

But since we are driving completely through, we need some more activities??

I normally think that everything at forever 21 is slightly ridiculous, even though I shop there every once in a while, for their cute tops. But i was surprised when I arrived to their website and found this outfit, pictured above.

And well I love it!

but as i looked through the whole website i could only find one item that matched, which is my favorite, the under shirt (pictured below) so then i went and found more reliable clothes that matched this outfit. enjoy darlingss

Jen and I are so excited because our daddy is coming to town today!

can't wait!

but once he arrives, we will be headed to beautiful Seattle,

oh i just love it there!

and we will be doing some of this..

H&M shopping, I'm excited about this because there are none in texas, or even close, so I'm super excited!

Jen and her hubby bryan will be going to the first Seattle Seahawks pre season game!

(but i will gladly miss that for a little shopping time)

what TWO girls can do with 10 bottles of spray paint..

MEET Jens delicious 

kitchen table..

she needed a little makeover, but not according to Jens husband, but he better watch out, because when he leaves for work, you never know whats going to happen when you have spray paint bottles  just laying around.

NOW MEET the chairs...

theres POTENTIAL!

so you might ask why would you want to change a perfectly fine kitchen table, well this is what happens when I come and stay with you, I obsess about watching HGTV as much as possible. and therefor it causes Jen and i to think we are little decorators (which i must add we are pretty good ones) and then we transform her whole home, one room at a time.. and since we have finished the NOW extremely elegant and cozy Living Room we headed on over to the 

Kitchen... 

now people you cant buy these beautiful framed pictures(above) just anywhere, Jen and i decided to be creative and make them out of a necklace from FOREVER 21, yes a necklace..

 we chose keys because JEN LOVES KEYS, maybe because they remind her of Tiffanys.. or maybe not??

anyways then we used 

vintage scrapbook paper

in purple, light pink, and of course hot pink, we used see through paper to make the hot pink paper a slight more dull, and to make it not such a HOT pink.

then the placing of the keys..

we also did this to these tiny frames..

and i think they turned out pretty cool..

and we painted the walls a honey golden color..

Non-Alcoholic Mojito:

Ingredients

• Fresh mint
• 1 lime
• 1 packet sugar substitute
• Crushed ice
• 6 fluid ounces lime-flavored sparkling water

Directions

Crush a sprig of mint in the bottom of a cocktail glass. Squeeze the juice of one fresh lime into the glass. Add 1 package of sugar substitute, crushed ice, and 6 ounces of lime-flavored sparkling water. Garnish with mint and serve.

NOW FOR THE GROWN UPS..

Bacardi Mojito Ingredients Bacardi Carta Blanca rum 1 oz lime 2 teaspoons sugar mint ice and soda water Serving Instructions Place sugar, mint, and splash of soda water in a chilled pint glass. Lightly muddle until the sugar dissolves and you smell the mint. Squeeze both halves of lime into the glass, leaving one hull in the mixture. Add rum, stir, and fill with ice. Top with soda water. Serve in a pint glass.
